Lola runs a family-owned farm that has been making olive oil since 1640.

Experience the luxury of Olio Piro, a renowned ultra-premium extra virgin olive oil. Created in 2018 by siblings Romain and Marie-Charlotte Piro, alongside master miller Daniele Lepori, this expertly crafted olive oil has quickly gained recognition and acclaim. With awards from global contests and the praise of top chefs and food enthusiasts, the Piro team is dedicated to bringing the best extra virgin olive oil to every discerning cook and diner.
Using a unique blend of early-harvest olives, including Leccino, Moraiolo, Frantoio, and the rare Olivastra Seggianese, Olio Piro is cold-pressed in limited batches. These olives are carefully selected from Piro’s own groves of ancient olive trees, which have stood for 300 years on the slopes of Mount Amiata in Southern Tuscany's Maremma region. Their proprietary double filtration milling system, developed in collaboration with the Italian Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, ensures a sophisticated extra virgin olive oil with a deliciously rich taste and an exceptionally high level of healthful antioxidants.

Unlike other methods where all the fruit ripens at once, Rio Largo handpicks their olives at different times during the harvest.
